Digital SLR Cameras & Photography For Dummies (For Dummies (Computer/Tech)) by David D. Busch

BOOK DETAILS:
• Paperback: 352 pages
• Publisher: For Dummies; 2 edition (October 8, 2007)
• Language: English

As the title suggests the book introduces novices to the world of Digital SLR Cameras but first of all it tells you is a DSLR worth the extra hundred or so dollars. David Busch explains the advantages of different camera designs and how to use it to your advantage.

Although the author explains the nuts and bolts of a DSLR at length like image formats, memory cards etc however it lacks in telling us how to shoot great pics with our DSLR, the main purpose for buying this book for many. So if you are new to the world of DSLRs the book is a great introduction but if already own one but only shot pictures in auto mode without much customization, then maybe you will be better off looking for a book that teaches the next step in digital photography.
