Popular Konica Minolta Digital SLR Cameras

In 2003 Konica and Minolta pooled together their resources to come out with their first digital SLR the Minolta Maxxum 7D. The 7D and the next generation 5D boasted of a new technology not available on any other digital SLR that of Image Stabilization. The best part was that the image stabilization works with ANY Minolta lens that is compatible with the camera because the image stabilization is in-built into the camera itself and not in the lens. However in 2005 Konica Minolta folded their digital SLR camera business and sold their technology and production facilities to Sony which enabled it to come out with its first digital SLR.

Still we present here the popular Minolta Maxxum 5D which is still a rage among SLR lovers.

Features:
• 9-area autofocus system
• 3 photos per second
• Maximum shutter speed of 1/4000 of a second
• Compatible with all Maxxum AF lenses
• Color and black and white mode
• 6.1 megapixel CCD sensor

The Minolta 5D is a great camera for you if you enjoy taking portraits, or if you usually take photos in low-light conditions and is one of the most user-friendly digital SLR cameras around.
