The K10d is bigger and heavier than the K100d but it’s weatherproof and magnesium made. It feels real solid and professional with several manual commands available on the camera body itself which is a great thing. The K10d is compatible with a lot of lenses (virtually with every pentax lens ever built) even though, of course, you loose the autofocus mode with old lenses.
Autofocus is quick, though Nikon or Canon do something better (especially in low light conditions), but it also depends on what lens you are using.... anyways it's more than acceptable. The battery has pretty good life, the shooting speed is awesome, about 3.2 fps in JPEG. A great camera indeed.
