Sony DSCF505V Cybershot 2.6MP Digital Camera

The DSCF505V has great lens for sure and with 2.6 MP resolution it gives striking pics with Sony’s pixel interpolation software. The problem is with the noise from the CCD which is quite high; also there is no real view finder, only the LCD. That means you have to rely on manual focus, also not great for shooting moving objects. The biggest complaint is with the memory—8 MB is simply not enough and you have to purchase only Sony’s proprietary memory sticks which are 20-50% costlier than Smart Cards.
The ergonomics aren’t great but serviceable, it looks the ergonomics were sacrificed for style. Still given the price that it comes at, it’s still a great camera for Cybershot enthusiasts.
